ABOUT THE FAIR
MECA (Mercado Caribeño) is the meeting point par excellence for the art markets of Latin America, the United States and the Caribbean, convening national and international galleries that will be meticulously chosen to achieve a fair of diverse art and outstanding works.
MECA consists of 30+ exhibitors between 23 international galleries; 4 local galleries; 3 special projects; and 10 proposals for emerging artists and independent curators (MECANISMOS) selected through an open call that was evaluated by curator Carla Acevedo-Yates, all within the main building of the Arsenal de la Marina Española in Old San Juan.
